He sold me the truck stating that the 4X4 worked. But a week after buying it, I have gotten stuck on some pretty calm terrain and I wondered why when in engaging the 4X4 it wouldn't drive out. I went on line to see if I was doing it wrong on how to engage the 4X4 and of course to learn the right way. I even went back to this guy to show me. He said he didn't know how to engage it really. I told him I didn't think it work and neither all the people who had towed it.
I called him today 1/22/16 (9 am) after almost sliding down a gentle hill and into a ditch (as I thought MAYBE my 4X4 would work.) I jammed the gas and I saw only my back tires spin. Yup, they never worked. Need less, to say when I called he told me straight up he never had a mechanic check the 4X4 for my truck, and he knew nothing about Dodges. So I asked him "How did you even know it worked then?"
So thank you Willow Springs Auto Sales, you have screwed over 3 women (two which are seniors) in a time when it's the most dangerous for people winter and people need 4X4.
I went to this dealership to purchase a truck with 4x4 for winter back in Fall of 2015. I paid $4700 and that was me talking him down.There were problems from the get go and it would not pass inspection, I had to nag him to get it fixed.
I have gotten towed 25 times now in the last 6 months in some pretty calm terrain. I am on the first name bases with all the tow companies in the area and they have all told me that my 4X4 never worked and I should be able to pull myself out. They asked me where I got my truck and told me that this man was a bad person to do business with and how I have gotten taken.
